Kevin Beasley has created a mix of shorts and clips ranging from scenes of old Hollywood to films by contemporary artists including Do you Love Me and Valerie Solanas Incident by Michel Auder and Vinyl II by Stephen Prina.

The CMA Ohio City Stages festival area, on 29th street from Detroit to Clinton Avenue, will be closed to traffic. Free parking will be available in the marked parking lot at Lutheran Hospital on West 25th Street.

Audience members are welcome to bring blankets and chairs for seating.

Kevin Beasley works through a field of media ranging from sculpture, painting, photography, performance, video, and sound. He received his BFA from the College for Creative Studies, Detroit and his MFA in Sculpture from Yale University in 2012. Notably, Beasley’s work was featured during Some Sweet Day at the Museum of Modern Art, New York and Danspace Projects, New York and at the Studio Museum in Harlem in 2012. He was recently awarded the Sally Van Lier Fellowship through the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), NY. Beasley is featured in MOCA Cleveland’s current exhibition Realization is Better than Anticipation.
